Homemade goodies–using what you have

There I was, ready to wrap Xmas and Chanukah gifts, but oh no–no wrapping paper! What to do, what to do. Ah, wait a minute–isn’t there some thinnish paper in the study closet? And I’ve plenty of paint. Gathering supplies, clearing off the kitchen table, getting a jar of water and brushes at the ready, I went to work making checks and stars, dots and swirls in orange and green mostly.

And voila–wrapping paper.
