Blog Time

Technological learning is tough, especially when you aren’t a young thing anymore! For me it creates great frustration, a sense of inadequacy (why can’t I do this?!), and irritation. Plus messing around with it eats up huge quantities of time. It’s so different than tai chi learning. With tai chi you can start out approximating a move and if it’s not perfect, so what. You just practice, ask questions, observe, and practice some more. Gradually you make the tai chi movements your own.

Having others to learn with and from makes tai chi move along beautifully. And I’ve been lucky enough to have some help with the technology stuff lately. Big kudos to tai chi instructor Megan Elberty who, along with her son and daughter-in-law, are gradually getting me a website that will work. It looks different than the old one and is a bit “bare bones” right now, but it’s coming along.
